In Madrid, Spain, there is an epidemic that already killed more than 12
people, and more than 230 still are at the hospital. The illness is
pneumonia, and the microorganism involved is a very dangerous
bacterium: Legionella.
The most urgent problem now is to point out every possible focus, and
there is an hypothesis that needs experts on cementery [sic] risks.
We would like to contact by private e-mail with doctors in medicine
and biologists with published papers on this field, as well as any
other expert that already studied cementeries close to rivers and
lakes, and their health risks.
Professional presentations, references to experts or papers and books
are very welcome. Independent laboratories can analyze samples of the
water, green [sic] and sands in order to find relationships with Legionella
germs around this very serious matter of fact.
[Please give us more information. The word "cementary" does not exist in
English. Do you mean "cemetery" (burial ground - cimiterio) or "cement
factory" (fabrica de cimento)?
What is the theory; that the Legionella is in the dust from the cement
factory, or in the soil in the cemetery dug up by the grave-diggers? Why
must it be near a river? And what do you mean by "green" -- do you mean=
grass?
