The administration of animal resources at the Ministry of Agriculture
and Water said in its weekly statement that new cases of Foot
and Mouth Disease (FMD) were found last week in Qassim, Al-Kharj,
and Hotat Bani Tamim governorates. The cases are being treated by the
ministry veterinarians. The statement said all the 162 previous cases of
infection had recovered.
