Ebola haemorrhagic fever in Gabon: WHO Update 23

As of Mon 6 May 2002, the Gabonese Ministry of Public Health has officially
declared the end of the outbreak of Ebola haemorrhagic fever in
Ogooue-Ivindo province.
The last notified case died on Tue 19 Mar 2002, and no further cases have
been reported for a period equivalent to twice the maximum incubation
period for Ebola fever.
