Up to epidemiological week 5 of 2006, 14 cases of yellow fever were notified,
of which 5 were confirmed [all non-fatal. � Mod.JW].
For epidemiological week 7, 16 Feb 2006, 3 additional cases were notified.
The Tropical Disease Center CENETROP confirmed 1 case in Ivirgazama,
Cochabamba [Department].

Bolivian Amazon, east of the Andes -- see map at:

For all of 2005, Bolivia listed 57 notified suspected cases of YF, with 16
confirmed & 7 deaths � see <http://www.sns.gov.bo/detalle%
