Errors occurred in transcription of the data contained in the WHO
Table of Influenza Pandemic (H1N1) Fatalities by Region, which was
displayed at the end of WHO Update 101 (21 May 2010). (The data
displayed represented the situation at 25 Apr 2010 (as previously
recorded in WHO Update 98).
The correct information is the following:

WHO Regional Office for Africa (AFRO) / 168
WHO Regional Office for the Americas (AMRO) / at least 8396
WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (EMRO) / 1019 (not
updated since 7 Mar 2010)
WHO Regional Office for Europe (EURO) / at least 4874
WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia (SEARO) / 1808
WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific (WPRO) / 1832
Total / at least 18 097*
*The reported number of fatal cases is an under-representation of the
actual numbers, as many deaths are never tested or recognized as
influenza related.
