* Netherlands Antilles, Curacao: 3 confirmed cases. The 3 confirmed
cases are crew members of a cruise ship. They did not leave the boat
during their illness or during the 24 hours preceding the onset of symptoms.

[As of 07:00 GMT+2 today (24 Jun 2009) there have been a total of 55
867 cases with 238 deaths attributable to influenza A (H1N1)
infection confirmed to WHO from 99 countries. New countries that have
confirmed cases and reported to WHO since the last update (22 Jun
2009) include: Antigua and Barbuda, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Cote
D'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Latvia, Montenegro, Tunisia, and Vanuatu. In
addition, according to newswires, new countries reporting cases not
as yet confirmed to WHO include Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, and Serbia. Of
note is confirmation of cases in additional African countries (Cape
Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, and Ethiopia). - Mod.MPP]
